چکیده

Acute necrotizing encephalopathy (ANE) is influenza-associated (IAE) that mostly occurs in younger age groups following an acute viral illness with a very low recovery rate. It rare but rapidly progressive neurodegenerative disorder which pathogenesis still not clear. There are some cases reported where the virus can directly invade central nervous system (CNS) through peripheral system. Several pathogenic conditions like rising levels of proinflammatory cytokines, dissolving blood-brain barrier (BBB), etc trigger infection. no specific treatments available initial steroid therapy combination antivirals and hypothermia were found efficacious cases. Similarly, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by novel SARS-CoV-2 (severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2). Having rate, unknown pathophysiology, this condition proved to be fatal for immunocompetent adults. Treatments drugs remdesivir, hydroxychloroquine, tocilizumab, losartan used reduce No recurrent have been so far, reinfection hypoxic encephalopathy. This review mainly focuses on comparative study understand pathophysiology help discovering new area drug development.
